I applied for a Social Security card replacement for my son and my daughter. I booked the in-person meeting to present supporting documentation at the social security office at two separate times about an hour apart. When I got there 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment time, I completed the on-line check in and walked through the front door. The security staff reminded me that I could not bring outside food or drinks in, but let me stow my water bottle in my laptop bag. (1/2)
