Baby wearing is how I survived

I wish I could say it gets better but I'm in the trenches with a 2 year old and wiiiiiish he was an infant again.

Love all the moms in the comments! I agree with everything they recommend. I have a six week old and I had to do all of the above today. Baby wearing. She takes small naps on the bed so I can pee, etc. and setting her in her bassinet while she cries for a minute so I can cook 💕

i would recommend baby wearing and to shower fed and put him to sleep then place him in a swing or basket and place it beside the tub

It’s ok that they cry for the length of time it takes to microwave a plate of spaghetti. You need to be fed, watered and cared for to be able to tend to your little one. While it hurts our mama hearts to hear them cry- it is ok to let them fuss for a little. Otherwise I’d recommend a fabric wrap sling. They are life savers

I’ve been asking it about my own child and she’s now 2.5… What is this insanity. How do people do this with more than one?!

It takes time to figure out what kind of wrap/sling/carrier you both like best and what kind of day bed they will tolerate. We tried all the fancy stuff but mine loved a ring sling and a regular ol rocking bassinet that we’d rock with our foot so we could eat at the same time. They make those Snuggle Me beds that feel like you’re still holding them. Ours liked the doc-a-tot better tho.

Try a swing. That worked a ton for my daughter

It’s hard. You need to make sure you’re fed/watered too don’t be feeling guilty about this. You’re doing a great job. It is a phase things will change and get better eventually. 💪🏻
