Mainly because it feels not genuine… I also know that it’s normal to be suspicious,me thinking, just say what you want and what’s it gonna cost me. There is no need to butter me up. I know because I do it all the time, but I can’t answer for you, what are you thinking when you’re receiving a compliment? I’m liking the deep thinking, it’s very thoughtful, i can see you’ve got that look.

When you never recieve them. Or like in career field they’re always attached to motives and strings.

This is because most of the time when a woman compliments you she wants something, same tactics a child uses to get something, so it’s rarely believable, it’s no different than a bartender or other type of worker calls a man honey or babe, it’s for the tip.

I remember every compliment I have gotten by a women who is not family in my adult life. If it has to do with a shirt I know what shirt I was wearing. That’s stuff sticks with men.

Cuz we dont always believe you! Its not that we are ungrateful and believe me when I say that we will remember it and cherish it! Men usually never gets compliments so thats why we have a hard time with them sometimes, but if you truly mean them, show it a bit more than just words. A tap on shoulder or a hug or something

Lady, we get complimented like maybe two times in our lives. Three if you're a great guy. We can hold on to that compliment for decades and remember it crystal clear. We don't know how to take a compliment because it's such an unfamiliar experience for us. Learning how to do something requires practice. We don't have it.

Remember men: if you have a problem, let a woman explain to you how you can make it better for women.
