My wife and I understood the assignment, and voted today in Fort Worth. Republicans did away with straight ticket voting a few years ago, but I had no trouble voting for every Democrat I saw on the ballot, from Vice President Harris on down. If a Republican was running unopposed for some position (like local judge), I skipped it.
