The fact that she said ‘Palestinians have said they wouldn’t survive a Trump presidency’ is disgraceful. They aren’t surviving now, under a Biden/Harris administration. Voting in Harris won’t suddenly make their situation improve. For someone who preaches to the politically enlightened through her writing and writes about oppression, and marginalisation, I cannot understand how she thought this was the right statement to put out.
