December makes 1 full year of living here in Houston and it still has NOT grown on me! Im sooo contiplating moving tf back to Illinois. Texas is really a messed up state overly priced and money hungry asf! Why tf is my base rent $1660 and every month I pay $1900 after “utilities” hell and “utilities” don’t include this $500 ass light bill.

The influx of people no matter how far you are from the city is causing a lot of price increases. As well as all the corporations moving here. Supply and demand is fueling this.
