I work in a hotel restaurant. Last night we had a group of women, around 8:30pm come in, with their laptops, to finish their workday. I asked them if they were still working and one replied “yes, I had meetings all day, now I have like 400 emails to reply” Americans have ZERO work life balance. Imagine doing that anywhere else. Like Europe, or South America. Yes, I get that sometimes people need to work 3 jobs to get by, but these ladies clearly didn’t. They did it because they wanted to. Why 🧶
