We spend so much time investing in youth sports but not enough time investing in coaches of youth sports. And we all talk on podcasts and at conventions about how kids play way too many basketball games but don’t speak enough on coaches being ill equipped to enforce or teach fundamentals, making playing more games and less practice an easy way out. How easy is it to say the current state of basketball ecosystem is in the gutter when USAB licensing isn’t mandatory across the board?
