Set up a playlist with your favorite pump-up songs! Put in enough songs to last the whole run (e.g. if you run a 10-minute mile, plan for at least an hour of tunes). Another thing that’s helped me tons is joining running clubs. Good ones will have buddy systems so you have someone keeping pace with you the whole time. You can challenge yourself with the other runners, and it’s a great way to beat the boredom.
