I'm a gal but I follow a 2 under 10 over rule. They can be 2 years younger or 10 years older before it's just weird and uncomfortable, and I tend to stick more to 5 years over maximum. But that's just me.

3yrs below 3years above

As long you both are actually interested in each other and aren’t being toxic then it’s fine regardless of the age imo

3 years either side is a good rule. 20-26 in your case.
