It depends if the parents need the additional income to keep the house, food etc. It should never come from greed of the parents. Fuck trying to teach them "responsibilty" or saying "this is my house"

Look I get what you mean and for a long time I hated it. My parents give me very cheap rent and I get to live in a breathtaking home compared to anyone else I know. Im still studying and work full time so my mum does almost everything for me.. of course I’ll pay her for that. Please don’t call her despicable.
