I’m gay & Asian and was raised deeply (x3) religious. After coming out, my parents keep telling me they pray for me and that I need to turn back to Jesus even though I profess to still be Christian. They don’t believe me & they say my current friends don’t truly love me since they don’t care about my spiritual life. They also tell me & my partner to not “act gay” in front of them or kids... I wish you would spend more time commenting about these types of people professing to be THE church.
