From someone who had this exact thing happen to me, I am now 34 and the memory only popped into my head when I was probably 21 once my sister brought up something that had happened to her. I remember having a nap and my grandpa coming in and me feeling really uncomfortable. I don’t remember exactly what happened but I remember just pretending to be asleep so he would go away. Please don’t risk it

It's very normal, he is her grandfather so has invested in her parent, as a grandparent I can totally you that my grandchildren love tsleeping with both parents & grandparents. Not so long ago it would have been grandparents who looked after their grandchildren while their parents farmed or hunted.

No. No. Just no. Do not allow this. It’s not normal and it’s all kinds of really creepy. I see nothing wrong with the Grampa falling asleep if he’s holding a child and they fall asleep. A kind of uninitiated nap. But to ask if he can nap with her because he wants to is just asking for trouble.

I would trust my dad to nap with my daughter the same way I trust my mom to. If you don’t trust him maybe he did or said something to make you uncomfortable and not trust him.
