Jiu-jitsu benefits us more mentally than it does physically. Of course there are countless physical benefits, such as learning how to defend yourself, increased flexibility, better endurance, and increased strength. The mental benefits are farther reaching, such as confidence gained from having these skills, the problem-solving skills that are developed, and the ability to stay calm and focused while in uncomfortable and difficult positions. Every man, woman, and child should be in jiu-jitsu.
