I don’t often talk about this, but my mom died in March 2009. I was about ten weeks pregnant and the evening of the day she passed I began to miscarry. It was obviously pretty severe so I went to the ER. I needed an emergency D&C (abortion). I had just eaten so I had to have my esophagus manually closed during surgery. 1/2
