This statement is nonsense. Because they are definitely NOT the only group to do this.🙄 The problem/solution is communication and discussions. A conversation is had prior to the meal taking place OR everyone is responsible for themselves OR someone may pick up the entire tab. But plopping yourself down and ordering beyond your means and then getting aggressively upset because the table won’t foot your bill….that does seem to occur with us more often than others.🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
