An art collective (museum of forgeries) bought a $20,000 Warhol sketch titled “Fairies.”
They made 999 identical copies of it and mixed them all in together, destroying any identifiers as to which piece is which.
They sold each of the 1000 works for $250 as parts of a work now titled, “Possibly Real Dooy of ‘Fairies’ by Andy Warhol.”
I am deceased. This is so chaotic and brilliant and… I don’t have words yet.
What do you think?!
