It's Halloween night. The street is bustling with kids. The doorbell rings again. This time, I open the door to find a woman in her thirties squeezed into a Pikachu onesie, her round red cheeks and yellow pointy-eared hat making her look startlingly on-brand. Behind her, a group of age-appropriate trick-or-treaters wait, their parents clearly wondering if they'd missed an adult-costume memo. The woman looks both hopeful and a bit embarrassed. Next year I’m filling an 18 gallon bin.

15 小時內	tiffany.horsley	We set up a fire pit in our driveway and invited a few neighbors over, so we had several candy bowls for kids to get candy from, and we had hot dogs, walking tacos, and hot apple cider (with additives for adults) for anyone who wanted. The kids were all so respectful and delighted when we said they could have candy from each bowl, we got to meet some new neighbors, we saw some amazing costumes... It was a great night!

一天內	Sky skyfamphoto	I give candy to anyone who shows up. There are always a couple uncostumed, a couple who don’t say trick or treat, a couple of adults. I don’t care. Some of the adults seem like first time time trick or treaters and I hope they have fun. Some just seem like they want a few pieces of candy and that’s cool too.
