I gave my daughters father a chance to be in her life and he went clubbing on her birthday. Now chose to stand her up on Halloween to go out with the same group of people. He’s 44 and she’s 3 yrs old.

I have, and will, cancel any plans at the drop of a hat to grab her on one of her days with her mom if she can go with me. I can’t imagine doing this even on one of my regular days with her.
