I was leaving a voicemail for someone at work and in the middle of it thought I was leaving a voice text and said the word “period” at the  end of a sentence. which threw me off, so I paused in the middle of leaving the voicemail and then proceeded to ask them to ignore this voicemail and hung up as quickly as possible.
