PSA. I see a lot of people doing “New PR squats” while in a cage with safeties set at their ankles, aka not used at all. If you are going to go for 1 rep max squats you need to set your safeties appropriately. Additionally, you should practice bailing on a squat with safeties set at that height so you are prepared to do so IF you miss that PR attempt. Lift safely out there.
