When I was younger, I'd hear stories of citizens in other countries willingly turning their freedom over to strongmen who promised them security and prosperity. I thought those people were dumb. This nation cannot look in the mirror without seeing we are the same as those gullible fools whom I was told about decades ago. To see people proudly proclaim to being sheep (instead of the lion they claim to be) is unfathomable and embarrassing
