Why does a Christmas market in LA cost $16 to enter? All Christmas markets in Europe are free to enter. You're going to be spending your money there and you have to pay an entry fee. It's obscene.

2 小時內	Maureen moji95	Pretty sure each vendor pays a fee for their spot in Europe. the fees have contributed to the large scale decor (plus labor) which was bought over time. Us shows are doing that overnight and pass the costs onto the guests, as the hosts figure out the value of their show to the vendors. Just guessing
3 小時內	Stephen Leach edge_of_the_west	Event planner here and can attest that the quality of the customer goes up when a door fee is charged. Looky loos are abundant at free shows, participants who are real buyers will put up with an entrance fee.
