Thats kind of the thing isnt it. My Australian Passport says Sex FEMALE. I "pass" as a woman, but cannot afford "that" surgery (not covered by insurance in Australia) despite wanting it. So, where does that leave me? If questioned (unlikely) i would show my passport. Are they going to install those airport scanners? Charge me with "false" documentation? Of course, for me, the solution is to just add USA as yet another country i wont visit ... iran, saudi arabia, russia etc
