might as well get acrylic or gelx the salons are gonna tell u dip is better for ur nails but it’s basically the same powder as acrylic but instead of using monomer (the purple liquid) they use a resin glue to create the layers

Dip is good, just very dependent on technique and filing. You can get ‘em flat

I used to do nails (primarily dip). When you have better products the nails seemed to come out better. However, we would file the sides to create a very natural look. They just need to file extra because it's going to look wide when they add the gel polish (because it's so thick)❤️

personally, i think dip powder is better on longer nail shapes bc of the method of application having to be that apply & drag method. It’s just annoying bc they make the colors you want to be in gel in a fucking powder 😭😭😭 they cute but just a lil chunky but thanks nothing a nail file won’t fix lol

I get dip powder over tips and mine have never looked that thick and extremely unnatural. Dip powder isn’t the problem, it’s your tech. 😅
