When having to get my uterus removed a couple years ago, something that sticks out the most is the horrified look on the intake nurses face when I asked him if I could keep said uterus wet preserved in a jar. Poor guy went white as a ghost before he'd said something about how no one had ever asked him that before. I got told no because apparently, "I was literally born with it, it's mine," wasn't a valid enough reason to fork it over. Which is crazy cause if worked for my wisdom teeth 🤣
