I call on Portland Mayor-elect Keith Wilson, the new members of the incoming Portland City Council, Multnomah County Chair Jessica Vega Pederson, and the Board of County Commissions to pledge through formal resolutions that neither the Portland Police Bureau nor the County Sheriff will assist in any way with the mass deportation of immigrants and asylum seekers promised by Donald Trump. No local support should be granted.
