One of my biggest WICKED questions - in the movie musical, Glinda is the one who picks yellow for the brick color of the road to Emerald City. But in the novel and stage musical, the Yellow Brick Road was conceived by the Wizard a long while before Elphaba meets him. The lyrics in "Wonderful" explicitly state this. How will they reconcile this? A lyric change or omission, or the Wizard taking credit for Glinda's idea (on-brand for him)? Any theatre kids have ideas?
