I got laid off last week. The job market is hell. My emergency funds already mostly emergencied. My dog needed them. Since then, I spend 5-7 hours a day, every day, tweaking and sending out resumes. The rest of my waking hours go to parenting, household duties, pet care, and learning something new (this past few weeks it's been the Shopify platform). Social media and a lineup of free gym trials are my breaks.
