My husband wants to eat thanksgiving “dinner” at 1pm I want to eat at 4pm, which is the more acceptable time?

If he’s getting up extra early to make dinner, then by all Means eat at 1. Otherwise, eat dinner when the cook has it ready.

My inlaws have dinner at 1 or 2. My family would have dinner at 5. It worked out for us when we visited both families for holidays. His family also did The Feast on Xmas eve.

We ate (ham and sides) at 1:00 because that allows kids to have a second Thanksgiving with their in-laws. Yes, when I cook turkey it’s a very early start.
