For the longest time I dreamt about flying away from people. People who frightened me and wanted to harm me. In these dreams, I was the only one who could fly, and I managed to get away relatively unscathed. I don't have these dreams anymore. Maybe that's because I'm in a safer circumstance now, in my thirties, then I was in the decades before. I am grateful. I am also grateful for Elphaba and Wicked, because they were there for me through some extremely difficult times. Fly away, girl! 💚🧹
