Just saw Wicked part 1 today! Lots of thoughts: - No One Mourns The Wicked has never made me cry before. It did tonight. I did not expect to be weeping during the FIRST NUMBER. - the 'Have Another Drink' sequence was masterfully done, a certain someone even did a decent job making his voice not-immediately-recignizable - little Elphaba and baby Nessa have my entire heart - Ariana Grande captured Galinda's obnoxious vapidity, her emotional range AND dry humor very well (1/🧵)
