Some ppl don’t wear a mask or respirator despite knowing COVID-19’s dangers to themselves and others bc their principles aren’t yet worth the sacrifice needed to practice them. Practicing principles is often risky. In the context of pandemics, people of the variety I reference often forefeit practicing principles of accessibility and empathy for the sake of proximity to others — which contributes to COVID-cautious and IC ppl’s inability to have proximity to others … that isn’t lethal.
