Do any of my cat-owned friends here use a water fountain for their cats? My calico doesn't drink as much water as she should, and she had lower urinary tract disease a few years ago. I don't want the disease to come back. I'm hoping that she will use a fountain.

You do need to keep up with cleaning them and replacing the filters or else they get gross but as long as you take care of them they're great and I think any would require some maintenance. I had a steel one but it kept getting mineral deposits that wouldn't come off because we have hard water here so the plastic were a better option for me.

One of my cats had UTI earlier this year, and I use a natural supplement made by Vets Best. It’s a chewable supplement that she loves.
