Pure fact

🙌🏽 amen! I need those weak days! Unlike others, we don't get those weak days off, even those weak days. So, they'll just have to deal with it because life don't stop lifing for us!

When we stand up for ourselves, they call us "combative" We cant be passionate without them calling us "aggressive", forcing us to dumb-down our emotions, & Then ridicule our lack of emotion. When we're DEPRESSED, they call us "angry/rude" They call us Lazy for not wanting to work like literal MEN, and in the same breath They turn right around and call us Masculine for taking initiative when our men LEAVE US FOR DEAD. And they mask it all by calling us "Strong". That is an INSULT nowadays.

I stand with Keke on this because for some reason when every other race of woman asserts her confidence, and asserts her demand for respect she's she's seen as you know superwoman and it’s actually encouraged. Right? But when a black woman does it she's being uncompromising. Right? Well maybe we SHOULD be uncompromising because we put up with too much.

💯💯 she is right too often & in too many scenarios we are expected to be any and everything at any given time except who we want to be when we want and need to be for the well -being of ourselves.
