I’ll be honest when I wear black or dark colors I attract a type of people I’m not even attracted to and when I wear pink I’m addressed as a lady…”hey pretty in pink” type of stuff, I love that energy. I represent love I want to attract it and wearing pink does that for me every time. I just fell in love with pink at 31 lol 🩷🩷🩷

I cannot believe how universal this feeling is. I said i always hated pink. I liked green and purple. Which i did, but i didn't necessarily hate pink. I just didn't like people associating pink to be my favorite color just because i was a girl. Pink wasn't my favorite but it was a nice color. I just didn't like people thinking i was predictable, so i had to make a strong stance so people could remember: "I HATE pink." my keycaps are sakura pink now, not that they're my favorite.

I hated when people assumed that just because I was a girl that I would automatically default to pink, so it was then I decided I liked blue.

For me, I felt kinda "ridiculous" wearing/liking pink or girly things back then, because my family always treated me like I wasn't pretty or feminine enough to do so.

It's because I don't like bright colours in general (I don't like orange either).
