1.) Humans have bigger heads, we actually come out less developed than most other mammals because if we got any larger our heads wouldn't fit through a pelvis. 2.) Plenty of animals do actually struggle, some in nature, though most of the ones I've seen are domestic as I work at a vet. They just die without intervention but it doesn't make the news. Fun fact around 90% of bulldogs (french/english/"exotic"/etc) require c-sections because they're bred to be extremely deformed!

Human maternal mortality rate is much much lower than even dogs and cats who general have a support system. Nobody talks about maternal mortality among squirrels and chipmunks.

It’s not always needed. I gave birth at home just three months ago with nothing🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s very similar to other mammals!

1) mothers too old. Most critters give birth right after sexual maturity 2)mothers too fat 3)mothers in NO kind of shape 4) we are domesticated and it’s no longer survival of the fittest

Question # 1 Have you birthed a human? If your answer is no you can't have an opinion judging women who do. I had my 2nd in street clothes no meds not by choice, he came fast. No high tech equipment. If I carried on w my day I would of died from a hemorrhage . There is a reason you need to have medical care.

They dont... discovery channel sells happy endings as much as any other network. Plenty of other mammals struggle, hemorrhage, die, have still births, etc.... (ask any farmer) And healthy humans are capable of having very easy births. But media portrays it differently because drama sells and it allows cocorporations to have more control over Healthcare choices.

Because “Nature” doesn’t mean “everything works perfectly for every individual all the time”. It means “enough works reasonably well enough often enough for the species”.
