My 9 year old son had election day at his small rural conservative school in Texas today. He was the only one in his class who voted blue, but NOT the only kid in the whole school. I asked him how he felt about that, he said mom I am proud of my vote! Does he completely understand politics, no. Is he learning, yes! My vow is that by the time he is 18, he will vote for the values that matter to him. That he will continue to not only champion women but every marginalized community! 💙🏳️‍🌈♀️🇺🇲
