Tonight, I had a craving for pie, so I found a cozy-looking coffee shop. Inside, there was a ton of Thin Blue Line art, Black Rifle Coffee and religious iconography. I really wanted pie, so I ordered anyway. I've spent money at a few MAGA-coded businesses over the years: barber shops, flea markets, a chicken chain I have no business eating at. I can't do it anymore. Next time, I'm walking out. I wish we lived in a world that wasn't so entrenched, but clearly we do.
