When I was in first grade, I got to spend time with my great grandma who taught me how to sew. She made a matching blanket and pillow for me and had me hand sew the final seams to make me feel like I helped. To be honest I wish I had painted the sewing kit on its own to keep for myself for this very memory. I knew from the start of the series I wanted to paint this little watercolor painting.
