According to Norwegian experts on US politics , this election boiled down to anti-immigrationn sentiments and economical worries and not identity politics. I think the sjws dropped the ball by not addressing economical reforms , plans around immigration and integration but instead just continued to make this about black vs white and women vs men - the average person outside of terminally online echo chambers don't care about that stuff.

I can’t make it make sense. But I believe they do believe he means what he says – they just do not believe it would ever apply to them. And why wouldn’t they?
