I was so certain in 2016 that we as a nation would vote for sanity. I was even more certain this year, after all that had passed, that logic would prevail. Were we all too certain that we didn’t show up in the numbers needed, or are we all just that dumb as a nation that so many showed up and voted against our collective interests?
