If you come here, please pay your taxes. A lot lf US citizens living in Mexico avoid taxes and also the gentrification is huge for us right now and let’s not forget about the increase of services and food. But the governtment is being tough with foreigners right now and they are asking for visa already to every foreigner. The ones who already live here need a permit or working visa, if you are just another tourist you can only stay a few weeks or months. But you can’t just retired in here.

Lots of us speak English, but uf you’re planning to live here the least you can do is learning the language. This is called respect.

You wont find any trouble with that language as almost every touristy place is basically bilingual. How ever, some areas are pretty sensitive to gentrifrication as you can see. The problem is very severe and its gotten violent and hostile (towards locals and immigrants a like). Please do a more thorough research on how to immigrate responsabily.
