I voted: at what would be considered as a predominantly white election workers location. After I voted, I held my ballot in hand in line for mine to be received. Ahead of me was a Latina woman handing over her ballot , the white women smiled and said “thank you for voting” with glee and eye contact. Next it was my turn to hand over ballot, these white folk received ballot, no eye contact and did not say anything to me. I was cordial and polite from start to finish. 1/
