As much as I am disappointed in over half of my fellow Americans, I am not going to give in to despair. We are America. We are still free. The guardrails of democracy will be strained and stretched but I have faith our system will hold. We must focus our efforts at the local level to protect our communities and those most vulnerable. Don’t give up, now is the time to rest and recover and prepare to guard our freedom from the fascists when they try to force their hate on us and our loved ones.
