Hey artists. Sometimes these moments make me feel like making art is so frivolous in a time where big scary things are going on. And I’m just out here making silly pictures But our job is to feel this, and make it make some kind of sense. Or make a beautiful reprieve from it. Or show the absurdity of life itself. Or uncover incredible pockets of humanity that exist despite these times Art (all art, talking to you too writers, makers, crafters) is not a frivolous job
