Hey Bookthreads I could use some recommendations. I’m looking for books to read about smart people getting things done (what among West Wings is sometimes known as “competency porn” but I don’t actually want politics stories). I’m thinking like The Martian or good mysteries where the narrator isn’t making dumb risky mistakes (I’ve dnf’ed two different cozy mysteries for that in the last month). I need to read but right now I just can’t read about people being stupid. Recs?
