I'm so glad there are doctors out there that will take women's feeling into account. Had I known how mine felt in the beginning, I'd have searched for a different one.

You are a grown woman with body autonomy. And a nonexistent significant other shouldn’t have a say in your healthcare. PERIOT….(and yes- I spelled that right)
