Nah. I would force her to go into the back of the line. I hate cutters and I will make a huge fuss about it

While on the surface, that might have seemed like a selfish decision to not allow her to go ahead, and maybe it was, but you never know what someone else is dealing with. Just assuming she’s an asshole isn’t really a fair position in this circumstance. It costs nothing to be kind; until we put that into general practice, the world will remain the shit show it currently is. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was at Walmart, waiting patiently behind a couple of hispanic women using coupons and such. This elderly woman behind me kept huffing and complaining that it was "taking too long". Another register opened and she went over behind another white woman who said "you have less than me so you can go ahead". This woman actually said "That's okay. I don't mind waiting." I loudly said "It sure sounded like you did." She pretended not to hear me and went ahead. It's disgusting. People are just people.

Why exactly should the white woman have let her go first exactly? She cut in front of a bunch of people already. Maybe that women has somewhere to be? Just because she’s Hispanic and a mom she shouldn’t have to wait in line?
