“You’ll be fine. Tomorrow will be just like yesterday.” Maybe. But unlike a lot of other white women, I don’t care only about myself. I care about all the people I love who WON’T be alright. I care about all the people I don’t even know who won’t be alright. I care about how profoundly this will impact the rest of the world. The inability some to see how this affects anyone other than themselves is freaking astounding.
